Q:Your site won't let me add items to my shopping basket. How can I fix this?

A: Our website requires cookies to be enabled in order for the shopping basket to work correctly. If you are unable to add items to your basket, or if they disappear when adding new items you should clear your cookies and try again. If you are unsure of how to do this for your specific browser, consult its help pages or alternatively you can email us and we will be happy to assist you with this.

Q: Why can't I seem to find the product i'm looking for?

A: Some notes that may be of help with finding that product:

- By default our search engine excludes products that are out of print. If you think the product you are looking for may be out of print (for example if it is an older product), use our advanced search and uncheck the box 'exclude out of print'.

- The search bar that appears on every page matches keywords. Keywords are made up of any word/number that appears in the title, author name, catalogue number or isbn. Our keyword search doesn't match parts of words, only the complete word. Hence entering 'grace courage' will return all products that contain the words 'grace' and 'courage' in either the title and also the author name.

- Our search engine ignores inverted commas and other punctuation, it is not possible to search for an exact phrase using double quotes. Instead of this, we suggest that you simply enter as much of the phrase as possible. Similarly using a "+" sign or "AND" will not have any effect on the search results.

- Selecting a category and sub-category where possible can help to narrow down the number of products that are returned. With over 150,000 products in our database it is easy to generate a large list of products, choosing keywords carefully and selecting categories to search within can save time.

Q: I have an account with Koorong but I have never ordered through your website. What do I need to do to be able to order online?

A: To be able to order online you will first need to set up your account with a password so that you can log in. To set the password on your account simply browse to our account recovery page and look for the section ‘forgot password’. Enter your customer number in the space provided. If possible we will email you with a link to reset your password. Simply copy or paste the link and enter your new password (twice to confirm).

If you don’t have an email address specified on your account, you will be presented with a form where you can match your current account details and set your new password.

Q: Why won't your site let me log in to the sales counter?

A: Double check that you are entering your customer number and password correctly, passwords are case sensitive. If you are still unable to log in you will need to use our sign-on assistance page to reset your password. Check the box 'forgot your customer number or password' and click next to go to the assistance page. More help about this is provided at the bottom of that page.

Q: Do you have an affiliate program?

A: We don't have an affiliate program at this point in time. We are happy however to exchange links with sites we feel are appropriate for our weblinks page. If you are interested in exchanging links simply email webmaster@koorong.com.au with the details.

Q: Why can’t I listen to the audio samples on your website?

A: All of the audio samples on our website are encoded in the "wma" format and streamed to your computer. We recommend that you use Windows Media Player to play the samples, alternatively any other media player capable of playing wma files should work fine.
If you have an appropriate media player installed but are still unable to listen to samples, then it is possible that your internet connection is blocking the files from playing. If you are behind a corporate firewall then you should contact your I.T. Administrator for assistance . Alternatively if you are using a personal firewall you will need to contact the vendor for instructions on configuring these to allow streaming media.
