Koorong Gosford has been named the Business Services Employer of the Year, as part of the 2006 Telstra Country Wide Central Coast Vocational Educational and Training Awards.

This award recognises the store’s support and cooperation in donating hours of business time to train and assist young people in their transition from school to work. The store was nominated by some of the 10 students who have undertaken work placement there this year, as well as their school teachers.

Koorong Gosford Store Manager, Kristeen Hampton says: “It was a great honour for our store to win, and I feel a great honour for the whole of Koorong as well.”
